Recently ,i needed to contact Genelite Salisbury ,for a problem i had with my generator not working .My sparky first spoke to the tech support team with very professional advice in sorting the issue quickly.I then contacted them and chatted to Michael Whittaker ,who is the production manager .He was an inspiration and provided over and above support to me and assisted in giving me a spare replacement circuit board that was surplus to Genelites stock.

We purchased the DHY8700SE-LRS Hyundai Diesel 8kVA generator for personal use as we live in cyclone prone area and do not ever want to be without power again. It is easy to use/maintain and powers my entire house and my mothers granny flat at the same with ease. Very happy with the purchase.

I purchased a Hyundai DHY8700, read the manual and still wasn't sure, so I rang 1300 Genelite number and spoke to Michael. He listened as I went through all my questions, didn't make me feel like an idiot. He followed up with an email with additional information.

Product Description - 10kVA Hyundai HY8000i
The HY8000i, with integrated carry handle is easily stored in the back of a van car, or garage. The HY8000i houses a new inverter board designed to cope with the extreme inductive loads applied when using powertools and electric motors with high start up currents.
Powered by the Hyundai SC460 engine, the HY8000i produces 8000w and is more than capable of powering televisions, small air compressors for inflatable beds, electric heaters, power tools laptops, lights, etc.
The control panel features 1x 15Amp 240v and 1 x 32Amp 240v outlets. Producing a pure sinewave output, it can safely power all sensitive electronics without risk of damaging or overloading them.
The HY8000i inverter generator is extremely popular for powering family holidays, home backup and it’s built to be user-friendly with low maintenance requirements. Digital overload protection will shut the generator down should the load pass the maximum threshold, and low oil shutdown also turns off the generator should the oil levels drop too far.
